("MPL Care Homes Limited" / "we" / "our" / "us"). We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”) unless and until the GDPR is no longer directly applicable in the UK, together with any national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation as amended or updated from time to time in the UK, and any successor legislation to the GDPR and the DPA (together “Data Protection Legislation”).

As part of the services we offer, we are required to process personal data (as defined in data protection legislation) about our staff, our services users and, in some instances, the friends or relatives of our service services and staff.  "Processing" can mean collecting, recording, organising, storing, sharing or destroying data. All data are held securely and for as long as they relate to the reasons for collection and/or if there is a statutory retention period.

Data may be shared with third parties as part of our contracted services, for our administration and/or if we are required by law to do so. We cannot accept any liability for any processing conducted by a third party outside our remit.

None of the above affects your rights under the legislation, in particular your right to access the data we hold on you. Please include enough information to enable us to identify you and search for appropriate data.
