MPL Care Homes Limited (MPL) was founded in 2005 by its two directors, Michelle Fradgley and Leonie Pancholi. It was Michelle's vision to set up a care home in Felixstowe for men and women with a mental health diagnosis. Sadly, Michelle passed away in December 2011. She was an inspiration, an adviser, guide and true friend. She is sorely missed.

Michelle had a counselling psychology and nursing background, working with residential care homes and was an experienced trainer of residential care staff. Between them, Michelle and Leonie had over 40 years’ experience in the care industry.

Leonie holds a Masters degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy, a first-class Honours degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. She was for many years a BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist working in private practice. Leonie retired from counselling in 2013.

Leonie is currently the sole Proprietor and Director of MPL Care Homes Limited.
